perfect spot for leisurely walks and nearby attractions

I stayed for three nights and really enjoyed how close it was to Faringdon Folly Tower and Woodland, where I took lovely walks, and just a few steps from cozy cafes like TJ's Cafe where I had breakfast every morning.

Spacious Court Room with comfortable bedding and quality linen. The hotel restaurant serves excellent food, with well-presented dishes like scallops and cod that exceeded expectations.

A couple issues to consider, my wine service fell flat, with no tasting or proper presentation for a pricey bottle. Breakfast timing was also off. I found myself waiting around only to be informed it was held outside in the courtyard. The Deluxe Room I moved to had little charm, lacking storage and facing a brick wall, which felt cramped and noisy throughout the night.

the crown is a charming place to stay. the superior double room was lovely and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. the staff were friendly and attentive, making it a pleasure to be there. the courtyard was also a great spot for evening drinks.

It was just a good pick for a speedy visit in Swindon with good value for money. Breakfast started earlier on Sunday, which was super helpful.

i had a lovely experience during my stay, far surpassing my previous visit in swindon. the superior double room was spacious with a comfortable bed, and the dining experience in the ballroom was exceptional. every meal was artfully presented and absolutely delicious.

Great meal, shabby stay

So, I stayed for one night and the dining was amazing! The new restaurant has great food and wine choices, def a highlight. But, the room? Kinda gross. Filthy windows and a broken window. Definitely needs more than a scrub, like a complete overhaul. Staff were friendly, tho.

Front of house staff were exceptional, providing attentive service throughout the visit. some noise from nearby rooms could be heard at times, which mildly distracted from relaxation. the bar closed earlier than expected, limiting evening enjoyment. The breakfast selection was lovely, though perhaps more variety would appeal to a wider range of tastes.

The location was ideal for exploring with my family. The comfortable beds and elegant decor made our stay pleasant.

This place suits me perfectly with great amenities like free Wi-Fi, 24-hour security, and a cozy bar area. The staff even helped me find a valuable lost item during my first visit. I recommend staying here for a weekend!
